These siblings have GOT some LOVE!!

"The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love"
Psalm 33:5

In many ways, I can understand why Jesus tells us to be like little children. Understandable as adults we rethink, analyze and stress over our decisions. Adoption is a BIG decision...similar to the decision to try to get pregnant...it is permanent. Adoption is a common word in our house. We talk openly about God using this miracle to bring Lindsey into our family and a day doesn't go by without some talk/prayer for our newest member who we have yet to meet.

To this bundle of four above, it is a logical solution to an unthinkable problem. There is a child out there ( over 147 MILLION) that has no home, no daddy or mommy, no sisters, no brothers, no love.......and we have ALL of that, with some to spare.

I think we would all agree to change some things about the adoption process: the financial cost, wait time, crazy notarized, perfect-to-each-letter stack of papers. But we can't and so we accept what needs to be done to bring our children home.
Knowing all it entails, we rejoice to walk the journey of adoption, although frustrating and lengthy, so very logical!!

"In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will.."
Ephesians 1:5

  2. AMEN! Thanks for your comment - yes we get a number but it pretty much means nothing because we are #1 or #2 for a girl over 2. Officially we're number 47 but that includes boys, girls, siblings, etc.

  3. Such cute girls! Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. I'm excited to do some reading on yours. I love your family picture. I'm a little jealous that you got all four kids to smile at the same time. We're still working on that :)
